"Headphones"

My headphones aren't working. I'm not even kidding. My headphones aren't working. All I've been through, all these terrible things I've seen, all the negative that has been thrown my way in life and my headphones aren't working!!

I suspect this is my father's doing. Just last week I came home to find that the things in my room were disturbed. On asking him what'd happened, he merely remarked, "I had to hoover, you messy, ungrateful shit." No doubt when he hoovered he made it his personal agenda to destroy everything I hold dear, starting with my headphones.

And what's next? My black hair dye? My eyelash curlers? My skirt? What next? What next??

All I want is to be loved.
