"Full Circle"

It's too hot today. I went outside and the sun was so bright my skin was burned in an instant, blisters boiling up on my skin in a half second and sending me shrieking back into the shade.

And what was I lured out by?

A butterfly. A fucking butterfly.

And on that note, I've decided to take a sabbatical. For the last two years now, my regular posts have reached out to those in desperate need of help and truth. Though this is just the tenth post, I feel like my mission has been completed.

Where am I going next? Who knows, I say. But I tell you this: wherever I go next, my thoughts are with all of you. Fester in your sadness, think about the unhappy things in life and then heal.

Because, honestly. Despite the hundreds of scars, despite the skirt and make-up, despite the burnt forehead and blistered skin, this morning I woke up and I saw the sun was shining and I felt something new.

Hope.
