Let's Wear Marigolds: Cardcaptors

Between roughly the ages of 9 and 11, I spent many a night at the weekend over at my friend Luke's house, slaving over atrocities never meant to see the light of day. Now, finally after many years of the project sitting desolate and defunct, it's time to unleash the madness of what Luke dubbed Let's Wear Marigolds; a bizarre series of incoherent, difficult to follow animations, made with Lego Studios, the Lego camera that came with it, a bright lamp, any materials we felt like using, and hours of our devoted time.

In this video, we present our fantastic rendition of Cardcaptors, in which we took the concept of the show and broke it down to its most simplistic form.

Despite the annoyingness of the high-pitched voices and the terrible attempt at hum-singing the theme tune to the US version of the show, and the utter shortness of the thing, it remains one of my favourite Let's Wear Marigolds pieces, and will go down in history as one of the greatest things I have ever worked on in my life.
