Fall Update
Boring Internet's first seasonal update is here! The Fall update comprises all of the following, to improve your time on the website.
Chat
The previous Chat wasn't the greatest thing around; you had to properly sign up to it, and it wasn't part of the actual site, instead redirecting you to another chat system elsewhere. Now, the previous Chat has been replaced with a brand new, Flash-based chat room that is integrated into the site design, provided for us by the wonderful EverywhereChat. For a full guide to using the Chat, and to jump right in without having to do anything more than click a button, head to the Chat page now.
Fiction: Not-So-Nice Nursery Rhymes
Kind of like the Silly Poems section you can currently find on the website, every Saturday you'll be able to find a brand-spanking new nursery rhyme for fucked-up kids. Be it a parody of something already out there, or something new, Not-So-Nice Nursery Rhymes promises to be a fun addition to the Saturday update. Check out the first Not-So-Nice Nursery Rhyme over here!
Comics: The Biased
To be released on Mondays and Thursdays, comes brand new comic series, The Biased. Created with the Halo 3 Xbox 360 game, The Biased is a sci-fi/horror story incorporating elements of stories by Stephen King and HP Lovecraft, along with influences from current machinima series, Red vs Blue: Reconstruction. The comic will be released a page a day in chapters telling parts of the current story arc, and it's set to be hot! Check out the cover and first page of Chapter 1 of the comic here!
Comics: Boring Comics
In accordance with the new comic come to Boring Internet, the update schedule of Boring Comics will decrease to two comics a week - released on Wednesdays and Sundays. As usual, you can check out the Boring Comics archive here!
Miscellaneous Changes
Errors in the Pixelated Anne archives have now been updated, and there are fewer ads on these pages, along with the corrected website header. The Reviews section has also been discontinued, but it will be returning in either the Winter update or an early 2009 update.
