The Ghost

Once there was a ghost
Whose name was Mary-Sue
She was just like any other ghost;
Not opaque, she was see-through.

Now Mary-Sue had a problem
And for a little ghost, the problem was big
Mary-Sue couldn't scare anything
Be it human, bear or pig.

One day on her final attempt
She tried to scare a one-year-old
But instead the baby laughed
And Mary-Sue had a brainwave that was bold.

So now if you see kids laughing
At nothing so hard their face is blue
Don't think, "Man, that kid's crazy"
Cos it's probably Mary-Sue.
